new phones! again! HTC and LG

ooh this is excellent!  I’m sniggering gleefully as i type this.  even as i lay my hands on the HTC Touch, announcements have been made for the HTC Touch HD and LG KC910.  I was quite mesmerised while reading about the LG KC910 yesterday, when who knew, up popped the HTC Touch HD, like a dream come true.  Modaco and GSM Arena are touting as the “ultimate iPhone rival”, but aiya, every touch-screen phone is touted as an iPhone killer anyway.

But from the photos, it seems that HTC is going for the glossy look they introduced in the HTC Diamond. Perhaps the 5mp camera, FM radio, and 3.5mm standard audio jack will make up for it.  and i hope there’s been some improvements to the built-in music player since the HTC Touch.

I’m quite a fan of HTC for now, and my phone contract is up for recontracting early next year.  We shall see! For now have a look at the specs and the pretty pretty pictures (from GSM Arena)
