5 days with more than 50 hours spent on travelling on planes and coaches.  I love travelling, I love freezing my fingers smoking in 0 degree weather but my arse hurts so much right now.

I’m ‘looking forward’ to another one.  3 days and counting.  A company trip this time, surprisingly I get to go on it, considering the distance, the cost and that I’m still on probation.  It’s the first time I’m breaking the (invisible) border of Asia, so everybody (I think) expects me to be really excited.  Unfortunately I can’t even get excited about being trapped in the plane and then some exotic locale for 5 days with a bunch of potatoes.  The colleague I get along with couldn’t make it in time for the trip, and her boss, the office joker, couldn’t get a visa on time.  I’m stuck with and a whole bunch of ang-moh piaks and one scarily overly-enthusiastic colleague who apparently has decided to be my new best friend…ok I am being ungrateful as she has shown me more ‘friendly’ than the rest of them, but still the over-enthusiasm is …just…too…OVER.

The only thing I look forward to is shopping for the trip (where I managed to drive Chris nuts) which is now over, eating Popeye’s at T1, getting my passport stamped with some new customs stamps (I’m hoping to get the Paris one as well!), seeing one of my CEOs who’s apparently very cute and just getting out of this office and moving around for a week.  I think I get spoiled by travelling with mafia so much so that I can’t imagine going overseas without at least 1 or 2 of them going with me *bian zui*, the experience just isn’t the same.

However even after all the shopping trips with Chris (incl 6 hours at IMM with her and qh!), I still am not sure what I’m going to wear.  I hate business trips if I can’t wear jeans, tees and sneakers.  So obviously, as usual, I’m still not packed yet.  I think I’ll remain one of those last-minute-packers for the rest of my life   I’m just not organised enough.  And I just remembered I have no money for the trip either!

The feeling of hunger is combination of low blood sugar and the resulting
response in your head. This response in your head (brain) is mediated by
the neurotransmitter (signal substance) Serotonin. This substance (serotonin) is involved in a lot of processes, like: sleep, mood, thirst, hunger, etc.
With some people this serotonin system, can cause serious headaches
(migraine) when it is out of balance. In your case it is probably the effect of a sensitive serotonin system, which gives you a headache when you are feeling hungry. Just try to eat regularly.

like that, sibeh unfair lor…want to diet also cannot, want to hunger strike also cannot. and if the bus takes 2 hours to reach home along a rain-drenched-therefore-jam-like-siao orchard->PIE->J.East->J.West, also not my fault right?  cannot punish me like that mah…

barely 2 months after the japan trip, and a week before the company trip, I’m tempted to book another airticket…to Hong Kong.  I think it’s been more than 2 years since my last trip there.  Even if HK and he don’t miss me, I miss them.  I suddenly have an urge to hear nothing but cantonese being spoken all around me, to stay at a grungy hotel, to eat at all hours of day and night, and to take a cab up a mountain and wind my way down slowly half a day later.

2 days MC, 2 days of blah. Why can’t doctors give cold meds that don’t put you under deep sleep? Now looking forward to 3 days of blah-blah in the office. It’s not that I dislike the office…I do like it. I look forward to lunch-time, the coffee machine I have a crush on, and 6pm. What’s not to look forward to in an office full of potatoes and bananas? Also looking forward to the look my ultra-healthy ultra-high-metabolism-rate air-con-forever-not-cold-enough-at-22degC manager will give me when I’m back tomorrow.
